April 2021 - Sunflower Stitches

We were delighted to have Karen Crookes as our host for our virtual April meeting.  Having discovered a passion for all craft activities she started her own business, called Sunflower Stitches, as a way of helping others to discover what fun crafting activities can bring.

This evening she helped us produce a pop-up-card.

With patience and careful demonstration she guided us through folding, cutting, colouring and glueing which enabled us to turn 10 squares of paper, two templates for leaves into glorious displays of open flower heads inside a card.

It was  a very enjoyable time and we discovered that even if we are not gifted crafters we can produce items we can be proud of.
