Charming Eric Sanders who is an amazing 101, joined us to talk about his astonishing life.

Eric is an Austrian Jew who is not only a published author, but also a musician & teacher. He shared his fascinating stories which ranged from his childhood in Vienna, the difficulties he experienced at his school due to anti-semitism, escaping Vienna when Hitler arrived to joining the British army during the 2nd WW.

He was awarded the Austria Cross of Honour for Science and Culture. He put the secret of his grand age down to never smoking and firmly believed that you should enjoy your life.

Eric was a delightful and interesting speaker - one we would love to have as a guest again!
