October 2020 - Alzheimer's Cafe

Maureen Hume (Chairperson) from Camberley Alzheimer's Café UK joined us as our guest speaker this month and gave a talk about ‘'What happens to memory in dementia?”

Maureen presentation provided a most interesting and educational insight on a subject which sadly touches many lives. The Alzheimer Café is an organisation, run in over 12 countries, which offers support, information, and education about dementia, and allows carers and sufferers to meet others in similar circumstances. There is also the opportunity to meet professionals knowledgeable about dementia in a more relaxed environment.

The Café continues to meet regularly on Zoom.
